that’s me

FROM THE LAB TO THE COURT – AND INTO THE DIGITAL WORLD
My journey combines scientific precision, technical know-how, and athletic passion.
At the age of five, I first stepped onto a tennis court. Even back then, ambition was my drive. My great idol, Roger Federer, inspired me to become a professional tennis player. For a time, it seemed that this dream could become reality, but my body had other plans. That’s how my path led from sports to the world of science.
Fascinated by biology and chemistry, I began my studies at the University of Bern. There, I discovered my passion for research and analytics, and, at the same time, a growing curiosity for technology. This combination eventually led me into bioinformatics, where I learned to connect science with modern IT.
Even though research brings me great joy, my heart still beats for sports. That’s why today, I’m back on the tennis court as a coach, combining scientific thinking with athletic passion.
